Day 4: Doing God's Will -- Beyond Words Into Obedience

One of the most sobering passages in all of Scripture is found in Matthew 7:21-23, where Jesus warns that many who call him Lord will not enter the kingdom. The issue is not sincerity -- it is alignment. You can be sincere and still be misaligned with the will of God. Kingdom citizenship is not demonstrated by what you say about God, or even what you do in his name, but by whether you are genuinely submitted to the Father's will. Obedience is the language of true relationship. When God's will becomes your will, you stop performing for the kingdom and start living from within it.
