Day 3: Righteousness and Holiness -- The Standard of Kingdom Living

The kingdom of God is not simply a belief system -- it is a way of living. God's kingdom has a standard, and that standard is holiness. This does not mean perfection, but it does mean intentional separation from the things that grieve the Holy Spirit. What makes 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 so powerful is not the list of behaviors that disqualify -- it is the declaration that follows. The passage reminds us that some who once lived in those patterns were cleansed and made right with God. Righteousness is not about where you have been. It is about who you are becoming through Christ.
