Practical Applications
This Week's Challenge
Choose at least one action step to complete before your next meeting:
IDENTIFY
Write down 2-3 specific cycles or patterns you want to break
Identify what has been keeping you bound or codependent
CHANGE
Make one intentional change to your daily habits that aligns with where God is taking you
Change one aspect of your environment (physical space, media consumption, time management)
CONNECT
Reach out to one new connection or relationship that could help elevate you to the next level
Distance yourself from one relationship or environment that reinforces old patterns
DECLARE
Write a personal declaration: "Welcome to my new era of _______"
Speak this declaration daily over your life
ACT IN FAITH
Like the woman who touched Jesus' cloak, take one bold step of faith toward your breakthrough
Do something you've been putting off that represents your new era
Group Activity
Breaking Cycles Exercise (15-20 minutes)
Individual Reflection (5 min): Each person writes down:
-One cycle they're breaking
-One new pattern they're establishing
-One area where they're expecting God's release
Partner Share (5 min): Share with one other person and pray for each other
Group Declaration (5 min): Go around the circle and have each person declare: "I am entering a new era of _______" and have the group respond: "Welcome to your new era!"
Accountability Questions
For next week's meeting:
What evidence have you seen of breaking old cycles?
What new opportunities or favor have you noticed?
Where have you struggled to maintain your new patterns?
How can we support you in this transition?
Memory Verse
Mark 5:29 "Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering."
Closing Prayer Points
Thank God for breaking cycles and establishing new patterns
Pray for immediate breakthrough in areas of long-term struggle
Ask for wisdom to recognize and steward new opportunities
Declare freedom from codependency and bondage
Invite fresh favor and divine connections
Pray for the courage to step fully into your new era
Additional Resources
Journal about your "new era" throughout the week
Create a vision board representing what your new era looks like
Read testimonies of biblical figures who entered new seasons (Abraham, Moses, David, Esther)
Leader's Notes
Be sensitive to those who may still be in the midst of their struggle
Celebrate any breakthroughs shared, no matter how small
Encourage authenticity about ongoing challenges
Follow up individually with members who share vulnerable situations
Keep the focus on God's faithfulness and timing, not performance
Remember: Your new era has already begun. God has been preparing you for this release. Welcome to your season of freedom, independence, and elevation!
