Day 1: Favored by God

God's favor doesn't always look the way we expect. When the angel Gabriel appeared to Mary, he declared her "favored" by God. Yet, this favor came with a challenging assignment that could have brought shame and difficulty in her life. Like Mary, we may find ourselves in circumstances that seem unfavorable, but God sees beyond our current situation. He knows the grand finale He has planned for our lives.

Reflect on areas where you feel challenged or overlooked. How might God be working in these situations to show His favor? Remember, just as Mary was called to bear the Savior of the world, your challenges may be preparing you for a greater purpose. Trust in God's plan, even when it doesn't align with societal expectations or your own understanding.

Prayer: Lord, help me to recognize Your favor in my life, even in unexpected places. Give me the faith to say, like Mary, "I am the Lord's servant. May everything you have said about me come true."
